Some roots down

A small pun to signify:
1) I have presented my talk about prairie turnips (one conference obligation down, three to go).
2) I reported in said talk that observed prairie turnips are down 83% from 2004 (I welcome suggestions about causes and next steps, either writing or counting-wise).
3) I drank a "Beet Down" cocktail at Root Down at the airport yesterday and the Mister tried a Ginger Chialata (one root restaurant and two more root drinks down, many more to go?).
