Cranes?

A flock heading north flew over at 12:45 p.m. today (February 25).  They sounded like cranes; close and loud and yet nearly invisible in the bright midday sky.

    Did you see them headed back south today, if not today, almost surely tomorrow!

    According to the wildlife biologist who spoke with my students on Friday, they had already flown back over going south on Wednesday.
