Anything made with love is lucky

Thus, this skinny-beach towel shaped blanket I knit for Kaliel, a very special young person, will be lucky.

Oooh, pretty! And I like the koala. Will the koala go with the blankie?

Why does the Koala have blue ears?

Thanks Irene. Koala, named Dumbo or Koala, is a special part of the Mister's and my menagerie. It belonged to my grandparents (and we have one representative of all major types of "bear" so it is important from a curatorial standpoint) so wll not be going to Kaliel.

Koala does not have blue ears and likewise the colors are a little off on the blanket (the pink is a rosy pink, but not quite that dark).

Final dimensions are approximately 82 by 30 inches.

The blanket is lovely and the new family will love it. I didn't realize that it was done in different patterns. Very nice!

Alas, one of the many reasons I've never knit a sweater is that a single pattern only every interest me for a few rows, so everything I knit changes constantly.
