Chateau, I may. A lilac on the east side of the house is suddenly starting to bloom (first flowers opened Sat. April 13, most are not yet open); the one on the north side had iced buds but still seems far from it.
Beautiful! But also kindof heartbreaking. Still frigid here, but I did see some bulb flowers sprouting at long, long last. We're in a marthon 2 weeks of 40 degree highs and daily rain.
Ad Astra, enjoy when the spring does come! I'm never sure if I prefer the gradual progression into spring or the sudden and dramatic arrival of summer eight times during the season, like we have here. It was shorts weather yesterday. I think it might snow again tonight.
