Animated Rodent Face-Off

While several of you are visiting for Groundhog Day, it's time to pose a pressing question-- what are the best animated rodents?
Mickey + Minnie, Tom (or Jerry? I always forget who is who), DangerMouse, Rocky, Mighty Mouse, Chip + Dale, Simon Alvin and Theodore, the Rescuers, Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH . . . someone else?

The Bugs Bunny gophers!
From the web:
Goofy Gophers, The - Two very polite but screwball gophers who first appeared with Bugs Bunny in the animated Looney Tunes cartoon Goofy Gophers (1947). Their catchphrase is "No, after you!" Designed by Warner Brothers director Bob Clampett, the gophers were inspired by movie actors Edward Everett Horton and Franklin Pangborn. When the gophers appeared on THE BUG BUNNY SHOW, they were nicknamed "Mac & Tosh."

I vote for Chip & Dale, partly because of all the animated rodents I've seen, they're the only ones that have remained clear in my memory. And partly because they're the reason that when I think of Chippendales, I think of male strippers who look kind of... rodent-like.

The Goofy gophers are very funny, and I have to admit that I much prefer Warner Brothers over Disney. I can't stand Mickey's voice, or Minnie's big shoes and bow (just my own opinion). But as a kid my favorite was Mighty Mouse. I don't remember much about the cartoon, except the themesong. I also remember a Looney Toon that was about a bunch of mice who were going off to war to fight a cat that definately had a WW2 propaganda vibe (and I do not mean propaganda in a bad way). They were very cute and determined mice. I particularly remember a scene where the mice, lined up in a long row, are getting helmets made of bottlecaps places on their heads while singing "We did it before and we can do it again". Does anyone else remember it?

p.s. Tom is the cat and Jerry is the mouse. And sometimes, I wanted Tom to win.

Without fully assssing the competition, I'm leaning towards Rocky. I loved the Rescuers growing up, but haven't seen it since I saw it in the theaters. The only Mickey piece I remember liking is the wizard's apprentice piece in Fantasia, which is wonderful, I never liked Tom or Jerry (wished Tom would catch him), and all squeaky chipmunks sorta annoy me.
Don't recall the gophers or military mice, so will have to dig them up this year.
