The flycatchers are back in town

They are scissor-tailed and cool.

The robins are here as well. Irises and roses are blooming everywhere and allegedly I have peonies in full bloom on the south side of my house (somehow haven't looked at them since returning home Sunday evening with a sick baby and a big pile of papers-- excellent trip to Colorado, however).

Saw a pair of scissor-tailed at Clinton lake today! Campus irises were in full bloom last week. Baby cardinals hatched 2 weeks ago outside my bedroom window.

Spring is springing, at least 9 baby goslings swimming about with their Canadian goose parents in our pond as of a couple of days ago.
