It seems that Little Miss Purrful was just slumming with us last week. After 5 days of hanging around our house, and after we gave in and bought a litter box and food dish, the little cat disappeared as mysteriously as she arrived. We think that means she returned to her human family in one of the nearby neighborhoods. While we were most definitely not looking for a cat, and have found most of the local "free kittens" quite resistible, we did completely fall for this one, and even the thought that some family is delighting at her return doesn't console me. Here's another picture of the little heartbreaker.

So sad. You do get attached to them. We have quit naming them. The old cowman thinks they may not disappear as soon if we don't name them. The latest one is just "yellow cat."
i know how you feel. i had a kitty adopt me here in ecuador, he belonged to my neighbors but they were gone for about a week and he was very sad. so i let him come over and i played with him and thought he was great. then when my neighbors returned, he never once even said hi. katie and me always referred to him as ¨traitor kitty¨after that. very ungrateful little thing.
But she sure is cute. Maybe she will return. The cat my mom had while is was in college used to belong to the neighbors (he was full grown), but he liked us better. By the time they left the house, we was so clearly ours (well my Mom's) that they moved him with them.
well? still grieving the cat? why no posts? ahhhh....maybe you are actually busy with school, life..i forgot what that´s all about.
Wow, I didn't realize the cat was actually allowed INSIDE!!!! She's pretty. Too bad she left.
